Englert Theatre announces upcoming performances

Tickets go on sale today for upcoming 2008 shows recently announced by the Englert Theatre, including performances by The Second City (Oct.9-12), Saturday Night Live's Julia Sweeney (Oct. 25), Robert Cray (Sept. 24) and the Glen Miller Orchestra, (Oct. 13).
Other upcoming music acts include Iowa acoustic guitarist Jason Reeves (July 1), Christian rock’s Mark Schultz (Aug. 8) and American roots band Railroad Earth (Sept. 17).
To purchase tickets, contact the Englert Box Office at (319) 688-2653 stop by the theatre at 221 E. Washington St. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. Some tickets area available online at www.iowatix.com
