Tickets go on sale Friday for the Jan. 16 America concert at the Riverside Casino.

The English-American folk rock band, which reached a peak in popularity in the 1970s and 80s, is best known for its number one singles “A Horse with No Name” and “Sister Golden Hair” and songs such as “Ventura Highway”, “Tin Man” and “You Can Do Magic”.

Last year America founding members Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell released Here & Now, the band’s first major label studio album in more than two decades. The record includes collaborations with Ryan Adams, Nada Surf, Ben Kweller, members of My Morning Jacket, Smashing Pumpkins and Fountains of Wayne.

Tickets, $45 or $35, will be available in the casino’s gift shop at 3184 Highway 22, online or by calling (887) 677-3456. The 8 p.m. show is open to adults 21 and older.
